FHRI Membership
 
FHRI is a membership organisation. Membership is open to all individuals who subscribe to the aims and objectives of the Foundation. Membership is categorized into two;
  1. Friends of the Association membership – pay any amount up to 249,900 (US $ =150 and below);
  2. Life membership – pays Ug. ushs.250, 000 (US $ 150)
Currently, FHRI has a membership roster of approximately three hundred and twenty members. At the Annual General Meeting (AGM), the membership discusses FHRI's policies; adopt programmes, action plans and annual budgets and expenditure and review financing of the organisation.

Members receive the Board of Director's reports and review the financial standing of the organisation. Furthermore, they are encouraged at the AGM to have input into FHRI's policy directions. Members elect a new Board of Directors every three years during the General Assembly.

Members that subscribe to FHRI receive literature and are part of a national information network for the organization. They publicise the organisation; participate in on-going activities; report incidences of human rights abuse and provide information that is used in exposing misconduct. Members are regularly invited to FHRI's conferences and training workshops and are encouraged visiting FHRI’s secretariat and utilizing the FHRI Information Centre.
