FHRI’s capacity development division held a one day human rights training session at Katwe police station on 26th July 2009 for law enforcement officials.
The training was attended by 46 officials from Katwe and aimed at raising awareness on basic law regarding arrests of suspects and prevention of crime in the community.
Some of the key issues raised during the training were; human rights concepts, crime prevention, and arrest of suspects.
